It takes me forever to type a text. I type, but the letters come out really slow.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Stratosphere II. Whenever I try to compose a text message, the letters come out extremely slow. Do I need to delete all my previous texts in order to make it function faster? When I finally can type something, it takes forever to send.

Welcome to Android Central! Try booting into Recovery Mode and wiping the cache partition, which won't erase any personal data. Follow the steps in this video, but instead of selecting Wipe Data/Factory Reset, make sure you select Wipe Cache Partition. When complete, then select Reboot System Now.
