Why does Google + take up so my space (.98GB)?

Welcome to Android Central! Google+ also includes the Photos app, which acts very similarly to the Gallery app. It can therefore build up a fair amount of data in the form of photo thumbnails. If you never use Google+, you can disable it by going to Settings>Apps>All, selecting Google+, tapping Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Disable. You may have to Uninstall Updates first.
