Why does a s5 video sent to a note 3 playback pixelated

Why is it when I get a video sent to me from a samsung s5 so pixelated on my note 3 ? Sent to me via text

Probably because the file was larger than 1MB, so it was compressed with losses. Text files up to 1MB. Email files up to 25MB. Post files on a file sharing site and text the link if the file is larger than 25MB.
