Welcome to Android Central! The clipboard is not typically visible to the user. To see what's in the clipboard, open any note-taking app (like Google Keep), long-press any blank area, and tap Paste. This won't get rid of what's in the clipboard, though--to do that, simply select any text (like from a website) by long pressing it and adjusting the brackets, and then tap the Copy button. This will replace the clipboard contents with that text.

Hi my phone does the same thing. Only I have seen the list of things I have copied before by accident and clicked so fast on something else without realising and now I can't seem to find the list of copied clips again:-(
