What is wrong with my Droid DNA?

Aside from my battery draining completely within 3-4 hours (without much use) my screen freezes and lags, apps wont open, I'm constantly getting a black screen when I try to open anything, and videos wont play (mainly Snapchat and twitter. YouTube works fine). I have had to restart the phone at least 3 times a day for anything to work. Most of my problem are app-related. I have scanned for viruses, cleaned out anything that might be harmful to my phone, uninstalled and re-installed apps, and triple-checked all my settings to make sure nothing is abnormal. What is wrong with it?

Welcome to Android Central! Try booting into Safe Mode, which temporarily disables all 3rd party apps. On most Android devices, while powered on, press and hold Power until the Power Off menu appears. Press and hold the Power Off selection until the Safe Mode prompt appears. Tap OK.

If the problem disappears in Safe Mode, then something you installed is causing the problem. You may have to uninstall apps one by one until the problem disappears. If the problem persists in Safe Mode, then it's more likely to be a hardware or firmware problem.
