Can I replace Huawei ascend g700 screen?

My friend is trying to sell me his Huawei ascend g700 smartphone. I would like to buy it, because I need an upgrade and it would be a pretty cheap choice. But the phones glass is slightly cracked (the actual screen works fine) and I would need to replace it if I would buy it as I don't want to use broken screen.

So, am I able to replace it easily on my own or would I need to buy expensive parts or take it to professionals? I have heard that some phones have easily replaceable screens, but some of them are almost impossible to fix.

My advice is to have it done by a qualified and reputable repairer. You MIGHT be successful if you attempt it yourself, but you would need luck on your side all the way.
