Why isn't my Samsung G Grand 2 downloading or updating apps?

My Samsung G Grand 2 is not downloading or updating apps

Hello Guys my Samsung galaxy grand 2 is not downloading or updating any apps it just shows downloading bar but doesn't download or update anything.. i cleared play store cache and data also deleted gmail account and signed in again but nothing seems to work please help my 32 apps are stuck to update it's really frustrating
ps: My phone is rooted Android version 4.4.2

Welcome to Android Central! Try going to App Manager and Clearing Cache/Data from Download Manager as well.
