My Galaxy S3 photos were synced to Google+ in order to do a factory reset, now I can't find them. Where could they be?

My Galaxy S3 photos were synced to Google+ in order to do a factory reset

I am unable to find or retrieve the photos from Google+. AT&T rep assured me they are safe because she saw the photos syncing to Google+. I am frustrated because I had about 1200 photos.

Check to see if they were backed up to "Google Drive".
You can do this from your computer

Welcome to Android Central! That's a good idea. Also, when you're on your Google+ Photos site (on your computer browser), click on More, then Albums. See if there is an album called Auto Backup.
