    Hello guys,
I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S5 from a classified (the guy claimed everything worked but he lied) and the phone service is very intermittent on it. When I bought it, I could text and make calls. Now it works maybe 10% of the time. I know it is the phone since the Sim Card works on other phones.
Everything else on the phone works which is weird.
Basically the phone gets reception and disconnects.
I am thinking maybe it could be a software issue or more probably a hardware issue (like the Sim card reader).
What do you guys suggest I do?
I am leaning to putting in a new ROM in it or get it checked at a service place.
    Thanks a lot guys.

Welcome to Android Central! Sounds more like a hardware issue. The phone is probably still under warranty, although I'm not sure if the warranty is transferable to a new owner. Still worth contacting Samsung about it, though.
