Some kml files on my Moto G 4G are not immediately visible on my Windows 7 PC. How can I make them visible without having to restart my phone?

Some kml files on my Moto G 4G not imediately visible on windows 7 PC.

I can connect my Moto G 4G to my windows 7 PC OK, but kml files created by the gmon app are not visible to the PC until I restart the phone. This does not happen with my galaxy ace 3.
