    My Samsung Galaxy S5 is not saving my Afrikaans words and the predictive text is set in the "on" position. is there another setting that should be on. Please help.

    Hello. You can press on Predictive Text for an extra menu and select Personalised Data.

    The stock Samsung keyboard does not seem to have Afrikaans available to download, though I am not sure if that matters.

    May I recommend another Keyboard, many like I regard as the best - SwiftKey.

    It's predictions ate better, layouts are better, easier to type on (for me), and it has Afrikaans available to download. It is now free for the full version and you may prefer it. It will take a short while to learn from you, and it's worth it.
    I use a Samsung Note 3.
