Why isn't my HTC One M7 recognizing my headset?

My HTC One M7 Is no longer recognizing my headset

So completely out of the blue my one just stopped playing music through my headphones, I havent updated or changed anything since the last i listened to music through them. I have checked my headphone on my friends phone, my computer they seem to be in perfect working condition. I am running android version 4.4.2 htc sense version 6.0 and my HTC One m7 is an att model. And my headphones are Razer Kraken Pros.

Welcome to Android Central! Do any other headphones work on the phone? If not, there's a problem with the jack. Make sure there isn't any debris caught in there.

At the time I had cleaned the jack multiple times and the 3.5mm plug it self but to no prevail. However after restarting my phone several times, clearing the cache through the recovery menu multiple times, and downloading/re-installing SoundAbout which the first few times didn't work my phones has seemed to get over its little fit and is currently happily playing me music through my headphones
