Draining my battery

Anyone know what the icon is just to the left of the 4G is? Been coming on quit a bit last few days and it's killing my battery on my M8..

Yeah that appears to be GPS. It will become actively seeking your location when opening any app the uses location, such as maps or Facebook etc. You could go to location settings and either disable or enable power saving mode which should help your battery out!

It's gps. You have an app running that is requesting the gps location if the phone. Find the app and change is settings, or you might have to delete it if it keeps giving you problems. Don't forget to check the battery usage graph in your android settings, it can help point you in the right direction. My location is always on and I have not had any problems so far (Although I have had to get rid of several poorly written apps in the past)
