Transfer of files bet Galaxy Tab 4 and laptop

[AC Question]

I am going to buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4. I already have a laptop. I do research out and about and I want the Samsung Tab 4 to use and create documents and save files, and then transfer all the data onto my laptop at a later date. How would I do this please.

Welcome to Android Central! You can simply plug the tablet into your computer via USB cable, and use Windows Explorer to copy the files to your hard drive. But it's overall much easier to use something like Google Drive--if you save it to your Google Drive on the tablet, it gets synced immediately to your Google Drive in the cloud, and can easily be accessed anywhere you're logged in.
