How do I... make MY OWN folders in Images?

Images are currently defaulted to folders named: camera, screenshots, etc. I'd like to make my own folders (kids, vacation, etc). How do I do that?

Hello. Welcome to Android Central.

Which device. On many Samsung models - open Gallery and there is a (new) folder icon in Album view. Once named it will appear in a folder list on a grey bar on the left, where you can select and drag to.
Also if you are in open Camera folder view, you can pinch from 3 across to 2 across, and drag the grey folder list in from the left border, then Menu - Select and drag.
