Why is the "sync now" grey in Dropbox on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 android tablet?

On my Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet I have a few old photos in my Dropbox that I want to add to the Gallery on my tablet. I've never had any problems doing this before but now, after a bit of investigating, I noticed that in my Dropbox the Sync Now is grey, which means I cannot click on it to activate it. Any help fixing this problem will be appreciated. Thank You.
