    I can't dial, or see my contacts (over 5000). I've rebooted several times .... but it doesnt help.

    Welcome to Android Central! Are the contacts stored in your Google account? If so, consider going to Settings>Apps>All, select Contacts and Contacts Storage, and Clear Cache/Clear Data, then Force Stop. Then try opening Contacts again and wait for it to finish syncing.

    Another thing you could do is go to Settings>Accounts, remove your Google account, then add it back again.

    Or boot into Safe Mode to see if it works then--if it does, then some 3rd party app is causing problems: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-11934
