Welcome to Android Central! Try going to Settings>Apps>All, select Email, and Clear Cache. If that doesn't help, go try wiping the cache partition, which won't erase any personal data: https://motorola-global-portal.custh...p/30,6720,8697.

If you don't mind clearing your homescreens and setting them back up again, you could also go to Settings>Apps>All, select Launcher (or whatever the stock launcher is called) and Clear Data. When you set the homescreens back up, that unread badge should be reset.

Hi, I've been through all of the above procedures with my Verizon Droid Mini, can't clear the "unread email" icon, using the stock client. Any other notions?
    Thanks,
    Bil
