Why can't my S4 active boot to anything?

I was browsing Chrome with my s4 active when suddenly ( at 55% battery) it rebooted. I waited but it got stuck to the glowing Samsung logo. I tried to safe boot,but it doesn't work. I also tried to boot to recovery mode,but after the initial screen, it goes black. Please, help me!

Battery failure perhaps? If the battery is bulging, or can be spun on a flat surface, it's failing....leave it out of the phone, since it could do damage, and may have done so already. Even if the battery is undistorted, it may still be bad.

I tried with another battery but it still doesn't work. What do you suggest?
