Why does my phone ring on its own, even though no one is calling?

I have a LGL39C phone, and it rings by itself several times a week, even though no one is calling me. It would just ring, and nothing i do can stop it from ringing. It just rings as if someone is calling me, and then it stops.

Also, it would be amazing if someone can also help me with another problem. I can't view pictures that I receive through text messaging app. When I receive a picture, I would press "Download", but it says: "Message Expired or Not Available".

Sound like you may need to visit your phone carrier service center. Who is your carrier, has this just started?

The ringing can be because you have something else (email, text, some app) set to use the same notification tone as your default ringtone.
