I added a 128GB SD card Friday. Today, Monday, by battery went from 75% to 21% in about 30 minutes, and my phone felt warm. I've always had really good life from my Note 4. The only thing that I've changed was the addition of the massive SD card. After I charged the phone and read some posts here, I restarted my phone. After the restart, it said my SD card was damaged, and that I should format it. After formatting, I'm hoping that everything functions correctly. The only stuff on the SD card was music from Google Play. Has anyone had major problems when downloading Play music directly to the SD card?

I've been deemed a 'weirdo' and 'bad luck charm' for this, but I've had issues with SD cards suddenly becoming corrupt (and draining battery) with the Note 2, the S4, the Note 3, a Note 10.1, and a friend's S3. So yup, I've learned my lesson and didn't get an SD card for the Note 4 this time. Sammy just doesn't seem to get SD cards properly.
