I'm really struggling with my decision. I currently have a Pebble 1st gen.

I originally made up my mind to buy a gear live, but the moto 360 looks gorgeous. The watchfaces available for the moto seem to be genuinely beautiful, yet the live seems to have watch faces that are a compromise or just unattractive.

It looks to be a design problem with the square display.

So I sway towards the Moto 360, yet there I read the battery life can struggle to get through a day, even just working hours. There is a mysterious issue with the backplate cracking also, and then there is the issue with the round face and text falling off the edges requiring swiping around to read the notification.

The screen is not as nice as on the live either.

No matter which way I turn I am hitting a compromise.

Do you think the live will get better watch faces in time?

Pulling my hair out here lol.

But that moto 360 looks awesome. A bit thick, but awesome all the same.

I think this is going to come down to what you like and feel comfortable using. Have you had a chance to use both devices in store?

    magnus is right.
btw my opinion is you better wait this time, Android smartwatch is not really good and don't have a "standard" yet.
Wait till apple watch release and then Android will follow.
