Only want my phone to ring once and then silence for me till it goes to voice mail.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S5.

Go into system settings - sounds. See if there is a ringtone that rings or beeps just once as desired. If there isn't then you may need to find a ringtone online that would either do that, or check the play store for a dialer app that lets you customize that.
