Why is my Smart Rotation not working?

[AC Question]

It randomly stopped rotating. The option is clicked on in the settings but the font is in grey, showing that it's unavailable and I can't click it. I tried restarting the device but that didn't help. My samsung tablet is only a year old! What can I do?
