About 4-5 days back the calendar app on my Nexus 4 would no longer accept new events. When I attempt to add an event, I am getting a pop-up saying that "Unfortunately Calendar has stopped."

As a matter of fact I lost all previous events as well.

    Any suggestions?

Welcome to Android Central! Go to Settings>Apps>All, select Calendar, and Clear Cache/Data, then Force Stop. Now open it again, and wait for it to sync. Does it work now?

If not, then try going to Settings>Accounts, and remove your Google account. Then add it back again, and wait for everything to sync.
