Anyone have a rooted Moto X 2nd Gen with working (non paid) hotspot with verizon

Contemplating rooting my Moto X - 2nd Gen Verizon in order to bypass subscription for the hotspot option. I've used foxfi in the past with my Samsung Galaxy Phones but it seems Verizon has blocked this on Moto X Lollipop. Anyone out there root the Moto X 2nd Gen Lollipop and have hotspot access without the fees?

Verizon is blocking packets from non-Android/iOS/Mobile Windows computers at their end. Nothing you do on the phone changes that. (And if you're caught, they can terminate your account and charge you the ETF for every line.)
