I was never concerned about security issues until i asked my gf for her dirty pics. Now i am really scared about their safety. Does anybody know how safe is it if i deleted it as soon as i viewed it? Does it get saved on bbm servers?

Safer than other apps. Pictures are stored locally not on the cloud. You can also retract the image and what not time it as well

Accept the fact that once something gets out on the internet (IOW, your phones aren't both in airplane mode and connected by wire), they can be grabbed by others.Anything that absolutely, positively, shouldn't ever be seen by anyone else, should never be on a device that will ever be connected to the internet. (Just get a virus that sends all your deleted pictures to a server somewhere and you'll understand - the hard way - why. When you see those "deleted" pictures on porn sites)
