    How do I get rid of the system update arrows in the upper left corner of my galaxy s5. One arrow points down the other points up and they are white

    Welcome to Android Central! The down arrow signifies a download, so it could be related to some other file you downloaded. The up arrow usually means you uploaded a file somewhere. Are you saying that clearing notifications doesn't do anything? If so, then the only way to get rid of them would be to do the update.
