why do different letters appears than ones pressed on keyboard

I have a new Samsung Galaxy Tab S Bluetooth keyboard
The problems I'm having is when you press a letter a different letter appears on screen. Example press S letter O appears press X letter Q appears. This happens with all the letters.

Hello Mike.... Could be a couple of things.

Is the battery in the keyboard charged?

Did you try pairing them up again?

Try restarting the tab before pairing.
