I know the Nexus 6 and 7 now have the option for Google Now voice functions to be always listening where it can be activated by saying "okay Google" even when the display is off, similar to the Moto X. I found an article on XDA detailing the possibility for the Snapdragon 800 processor to use a low-power audio processing chip to always listen with the display off. I have tried OpenMic but the battery drains dramatically. Since the Z3 compact has the Snapdragon 801 and Lollipop seems to allow the always listening function, does anyone know if this is possible on the Z3 Compact on Lollipop or with other ROMs such as CM 12? Thank you!
