I finally got to do an update that was needed but couldn't restart my galaxy tab2 afterwards. Tried to factory reset it & it wouldn't do anything. Now I get this message: warning....a custom os can cause critical problems in phone & installed applications. If you want to download a custom os, press the volume down key. Otherwise, press the volume up key to cancel.

If I press the volume up key it goes to restart & then gets stuck on the Samsung logo. And if I try to shut it off it just keeps cycling a restart everything.

    Please help

Welcome to Android Central! That sounds like Download Mode. Try booting into Recovery Mode and wiping the cache partition: [Guide] Rebooting into Recovery Mode for the Galaxy S2, S3, and Tab2.
