Before the lollipop update I had been using a pin code security lock. After the lollipop update I have tried to change the screen lock but the "swipe" option says that it was turned off by adminstrator, encryption policy or credential storage. I have changed nothing on my phone. Please someone help.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Is it encrypted? If not, what happens if you go to Settings>Security>Clear Credentials?

It's a Galaxy S5. It does not give the option to change the screen lock to Swipe. There is a Smart Lock Google that I believe is the issue but I don't know how to change/delete it.

Are you saying that if you Clear Credentials, it still doesn't give you the Swipe option? Is the phone encrypted?

It gives an option to clear credentials but I am worried what it may delete. The phone is not encrypted.
