I just bought a class 4 micro sd card 8GB. The first time I inserted it in my phone, it was read. Later when I opened camera or gallery, it says "SD card unmounted or not present" but when I go to File Manager, it can see the folders inside the micro sd card. I tried formatting it as FAT32 and still the same thing happened. At first I will be able to save photos then in some time it will show again the error message. Please help me.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone do you have? What brand is the card, and where did you get it? Off-brand cards are more likely to be faulty, and cards you get from random sellers on eBay might be counterfeit.

Go to Settings>Storage. Do you see the SD card registered there as mounted? If it's unmounted, but if you can still see folders on an SD card in the file manager, then are you sure it isn't an "internal SD" partition of the Internal Storage? Older phones do that a lot.

If the SD card is mounted, then run SD Insight to make sure it's what it says it is.
