How do I sync my Outlook calender without an alert but keep the alert function at work?

sync outlook calender without alert but keep alert function at work

I'd like to sync my outlook calender and my smartphone but I do not want alert function for my smart phone as I am usually sitting in front of my office most of the day. I'd like to have access to my outlook calender when I am away from office so I can manage in case of emergency like my child's illness or my own. My significant other and i can adjust schedule easily without going through multiple password system. I want to keep alert function for my office computer so I would not be late for meeting. Am I asking too much?

Android since v1.0. Linux user since 2001.

If you want to use VCOrganizer Pro+ on your mobile and install VCO sync s/w on your desktop; you can come pretty close to doing what you are asking.
