Hi, am new to the whole Smartphone thing. When I turn on my Samsung 5s mini every morning, after a few seconds it gives a notification sound that everything is working ok.
    Fair enough, that's good.
But how can I change that notification so it sounds different to my normal SMS notification sound (I have that set as Chirps).
So when the phone is turned on first thing, it sounds like I've got a text message.
And yeah, I know that if there are actual messages, a little number will pop up in the Messages icon, but still.
I'd rather the "phone good to go" sound was different.
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks.

Maybe. If this is coming through as a normal notification, then the 'generic' Notification sound will play (Settings, Sound, Notifications). Depending on the texting app your'e using, you can set a different ringtone to texts and some even let you customize the ringtone per contact. In the Samsung stock messaging app, I believe, you CAN set a different ringtone for texts, but if you use the same one as the one for notifications, well, they're gonna sound the same.
