My friend Factory reset his Onem8 and in doing this he wiped the software from it.How can I fix it?

Ive used Odin and fixed a soft bricked s3 this way, but I dont think its the same for the One. What do you think I should do? Its a verizon also if thats needed for the software part.

Welcome to Android Central! Do you mean he erased the whole system? That shouldn't be possible with a routine factory data reset from the Settings>Backup & Reset menu. Or even from the Recovery Menu. Was the phone rooted?
