Hello. You can check that the carriers APN (Access Point Names) settings have downloaded over the air in Settings - Connections - More Networks - Mobile Networks - Access Point Names.

Also go to Settings - About Device - Status and see if your carrier and possibly phone number are showing, and at the bottom the device status is official.

You can also try removing the sim, re-inserting and waiting a short while for the apn settings to load. These will be available on the carrier website to install manually, or via phone support.

If no calls as well, ask to change the sim or check device compatibility.

Are you using a SIM that came with the phone, or the SIM that your carrier supplied? Most carriers won't use the one that came with the phone, they'll give you their own.
