I have a AT&T Galaxy Note 3 that is unlocked can i use with Verizon

my AT&T galaxy note has been unlocked. the sim card i am trying to use is a Verizon sim card from a 5s. i have already got a sim adapter. the phone will get bars but cannot make a call. do i need to root thr phone to make this possible? or is there nothing i can do

Odds are no, Verizon uses CDMA to fall back on, AT&T does not support CDMA. So having a AT&T phone (If you could only use LTE) on Verizon would suck, as you would drop a ton of calls when your traveling.
