Why is my friend that had a galaxy 4s not getting my text from my iphone4s?

A couple of months ago my friend stop receving my text messages from my iphone. She has a Galaxy 4s and I have a iphone 4s. We had no problem receving texts from eachother untill I did a iphone update and then a few days later she was not receving my text. I have been reading alot of post about people swicthing from iphone to androids and having the same problem, but that is not our case. I am the only person that she knows of so far that she is not receving text from. I get her text with no problem but she is NOT receving mine. Can anyone help us ?

Correction: She's has Samsung Galaxy S4, not 4s!

Send her a text. Mark it as SMS. Only iPhones can receive iMessages - to any other phone it's junk and is discarded. (You probably had her number marked as "send as SMS" before the update, and it somehow got set back to default by the update.)
