I have been facing this problem for a month, sometimes my phone does not charge at all I have be in safe mode to charge it. I did reset it from settings bu nothing changes. Then I went to recovery mode and reset it again. It was working good again for like 10 days. But suddenly im having the same problem again. If I turn off the phone the battery icon comes up for 5 sec and turn off again.

See if moving the cable, where it plugs into the phone, makes a difference. If it does, your charging port is loose inside the phone, and you should have it repaired It's not an expensive repair to have the whole board and ribbon cable assembly replaced.

I have been facing this problem for like a month. My phone suddenly stopped charging. I have reset my phone multiple times whenever I reset sometimes it starts charging again until I turn off my phone. If my phone gets turned off it starts behaving the same. And I have to reset it again for charging it. I have used another battery but same problem.

Have you tried a different charger and USB lead?
Also, is the phone USB port clean and undamaged?

Welcome to Android Central. Since the problem doesn't change with different chargers, I would guess you have a damaged micro USB port.

I would agree. If you tried different charger and usb cable that works on another device, then probably the micro usb port is damaged.

I had not realised that you had posted about this before. In that case, Rukbat gave you the answer days ago. The rest of us have just given very much the same answer, before the threads were merged, without realising that you had already been given an answer. I think there's a good chance that the answer is the right one.
