I have an HTC One (not sure which, about two years old) and since Lollipop I can't get my alarm to work how I want it to.

I understand Lollipop has the new "none" mode which suppresses alarms as well but I can't work out how those settings are implemented in Sense 6.

Basically after the update I did what I normally do, put my phone in Silent and had a great unintentional lie-in! I did some reading and figured this is the "none" mode.

Now the real problem is my alarm won't ring if my phone is in Vibrate either. It seems it only goes off if I put my volume up before I go to bed. This is counter intuitive (my phone lives on vibrate) and means I have no way of controlling other sounds during the night.

Apologies for the long post, anyone any ideas?
