I have trashed apps and photos to free up storage. I disabled some built in apps like NFL... But thumbnails still not showing only gray. The apps that were built in that I disabled I can't find to enable them to see if they are the problem even in the apps part of the settings. I have 877 MB of free storage right now.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone, and which version of Android? Go to Settings>Apps>Disabled, and look there. If you don't see a Disabled list, then go to Settings>Apps>All, and scroll all the way to the bottom.

it does not have any of the disabled apps at the bottom of the list.
I have uninstalled some more download apps and it still does not have any more data free space. It will not take pictures now. It says insert storage device first.

Are you rooted? If you're not rooted, you shouldn't be able to delete anything crucial to the system.

Try also booting into Recovery and wiping the cache partition: https://motorola-global-portal.custh...0,8577/kw/RAZR
