I'm running a Nexus 5 and Android 5.1. After a system update yesterday, I noticed today that an entire folder on my phone was missing. The folder, "Movies" was one I created to store videos of my daughter. The folder is just gone. I typically used ES File Explorer to move files into that folder and VLC to view them. Neither of those apps can find the folder now.

I've tried connecting my phone to my PC and running Recuva, which doesn't "see" my phone, Dr. Fone which hangs on analyzing my phone, Tenorshare Android Data Recovery which hangs on getting "superuser" status, and Asoft Data Recovery which also doesn't "see" my phone. I've tried this with USB debugging turned on and off both.

    Any help would be appreciated.
