Hi I wanted to know if anyone knows if when taking a picture with a galaxy s5 phone, will it ever label the photo IMG_xxxx.JPG or will it be just numbers. Is IMG_xxxx.JPG an iPhone thing? Thank you!

Yes. Android typically (it depends on the camera app) uses yyyymmdd_hhmmss.jpg. (Year, month, day_hour, minute, second.) Some Android camera apps use IMG_yyyymmdd_hhmmss.jpg. Open Camera, for one, uses the IMG prefix.
