For two months I have been on the phone and emailing back and forth with Motorola tech support about this issue. I use the headset while driving and not being able to initiate a call via the headset has proven to be unsafe as well as risky during a time when law enforcement is attempting to insure hands free driving. After two months, (just yesterday) I was informed by moto. tech that the boom headset and the droid turbo don't play well together. They should have told me this during the time that I could have returned the Turbo for another model (new, not like new) from either Motorola or another manufacturer. The "my motospeak" doesn't apply with the boom headset. Anyone else having this issue and has found a work around? I'd love to know.

Have you tried using Google Search? My Moto 720 headset works with it on a Note 3, it may work on the Turbo too.
