USB to HDMI?

Is there such thing? I wanna put workout DVDs on my USB drive, plug into HDMI port... Or at least an HDMI memory stick......????

It's called an (On The Go) OTG cable, and they are great with thumb drives.

Whether you can play DRM videos, if the workout dvd's are copyright protected, is another thing.

It likely possible, but I personally have never tried it. So I did some Google Searching for you and found a USB Female to USB Femal adapter Amazon.com: Cable Matters (2 Pack) Gold-Plated SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Female Coupler: Computers & Accessories on Amazon.com, you will need of course a USB Male to HDMI Female (or Male depending on your cable options) so now the real challenge is http://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU4297500 will this work with a thumb drive or just a computer. That part I can't say for sure. Sadly with the overwhelming number of big box retailers we have lost the ability to hit up the local electronics store where they, ACTUALLY KNEW THEIR STUFF.

So I would say you might want to hit up a audio/video site that can get into greater detail.

True, but most OTG cables I have found to date are for microUSB not standard USB since they are aimed at the smartphone and tablet market.

Looks like I misread the post. There would be no Android device in between at all.
