The Care and Feeding of Lithium Polymer Batteries. 35%? Maybe once in a great while. 6%? You'll need a new battery after 6 months. It charged
up to 6%? That means it was lower? If you do that regularly, the battery could be at end of life now. Batteries in that condition will charge, but won't hold the charge.
Plug the charger in, leave the phone turned off, and let it sit, charging, for 24 hours. (You probably won't get any charging indication for an hour or two.) If it holds a charge for more than a few hours, though, I'd be surprised. If it does, charge it wen it gets down to 50% from now on. (You can let it drop as low as 40% without affecting the life
too much.) If it doesn't hold a charge, the phone needs a new battery.
