How can I ship an app from my nook color to this cloud so I can pick it up on my new Galaxy S4?

I have used a great appt calendar for >4 years on my nook color...the problem is the nook is in its death throes regarding software updates. My dtr got me a used Samsung Galaxy S4. When I go to my Library online via the nook app for the Samsung the only option I am given is to 'recommend' the app, no d/l option. I have had it suggested that I could upload the installation file to the cloud and d/l it to the Samsung. Before I dig through the settings to accomplish this does anyone have any experience with this kind of task? I don't want to get all the way in only to find out I STILL can't download the app because its in the (assumed) nook app folder.

Welcome to Android Central! Which calendar app is it? How did you install it on the Nook--is there some separate Nook app store? Do you know if this calendar app is also available on Google Play Store or Amazon Appstore?
