My mobile doe not have expandable storage but internal storage of 32 gb. It is however divided into 2 gb phone storage and 24 gb internal sd card. Apps can be installed only in phone storage, while some can be moved to internal sd just like external one. Is there a way to increase the phone storage by expanding into internal sd card or better use the entire internal sd for app storage. I dont have hesitation to root but would prefer to acheive it without rooting.

If you can find a ROM written that way. You can't do it with the ROM you have unless you're VERY good with Linux (to the point that you wouldn't have asked the question). You would have to be rooted, but you'd also have to know how to repartition storage, and how to tell Linux about the repartitioning.
