my phone wont charge but says it is! battery?

i have only had my phone 6 months and bought it brand new never used. Out of no where my phone just shut off and wouldnt turn back on until i plugged the charger in to it and when it turned on i had 0% battery. It seemed to work ok for a bit after i fully charged it but then it happened again days later. Now it wont charge at all but the lightning bolt is showing it is instead it seems to be decreasing what little power i do have. It isnt the charger as i have used several different ones and none work. Phone is now completley dead and when i plug in a charger the red light blinks repeatedly then stops and nothing happens. My battery is fried isnt it....btw no water damage, no cracks, no damage at all.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Is the battery user-removable? If so, try a new battery. Or you could contact the manufacturer and ask for a new battery or other repair, since the phone should still be under warranty.
